• Review new and renegotiated collaborative research contracts for eResearch opportunities.
• Develop and implement processes identify eResearch opportunities in future bidding 1 July 2008 to 1 September 2008

Initiative 2

• Review collaboration tools used by partners
• Site visits to promote services and assist technical implementation
• Identify 3 projects for eResearch initiatives
• Promote case studies, exemplars and provide ongoing support 1 September 2008 to 1 March 2009
• Initiative 3 Investigate Service Provision over KAREN, centered around bioinformatics systems
• Identify obstacles and potential solutions for managing security and protecting Intellectual Property 1 March 2009 to 1 July 2009(with internal funding)
