- The Department of Music at Otago University has purchased a new state of the art fibre optic mixing desk from Solid State Logic (Oxford, England) for their Albany Street Studios. Connected to KAREN, this desk will enable long distance collaboration not yet seen in New Zealand. Stuart and John will discuss their respective REANNZ funded trips and the artistic collaborative possibilities these have afforded. They will talk about the affects of high speed networks upon intellectual creations, and upon both creator and consumer.
